Since 2002, the Canadian ReDesigner's Association (CRDA) has provided comprehensive practical training and support for design and decorating professionals working in the Staging and ReDesign industry. As the only not-for-profit operating in Canada, we have enjoyed the fantastic benefit of a non-competitive environment to share experience and wisdom with our trainees, members, clients and friends.
Our founder Val Sharp was one of the first to bring the concept of ReDesign to Canada, to provide professional support and advancement.
Our Association has trained hundreds of creative problem solving people over the past 14 years, expanding our focus into staging and colour consulting specialties.
Unfortunately, the volunteer Board of Directors had to make the extremely difficult decision to close the Association effective June 30th, 2014, due to lack of continued volunteer support.
We will continue to support each other through our LinkedIn page and our long standing peer relationships.
Our Certified Instructors will continue individually to offer development courses to provide various skills to those new to the industry or looking to expand their credentials. The Instructors materials will draw from their experiences within the CRDA professional system but will focus on regional industry standards and local market trends. Please contact your closest instructor directly to make inquiries. Look under the training page for Instructor listing.
The profiles of our existing group of dynamic professional members who were active at June 30th are still hosted on this site and will remain searchable until June 30th 2015.
