Professional Interior ReDesign & Home Staging Training Course

The design field is still one of the fastest growing industries in Canada, with redesign and staging taking the lead. ReDesign in particular is especially popular given the fact that it is GREEN. We recycle what you already have in your home!

The CRDA is a vibrant, not for profit organization, featuring an ever expanding membership roster.

The 5 day Professional Interior ReDesign & Home Staging Course is offered by each of our Approved Instructors. Each instructor has been approved by the CRDA as having met the specific requirements set forth by the Association.

Each CRDA instructor offers a unique redesign instruction format and brings their own sense of personal style and flair to the training program. We suggest that you contact each instructor personally prior to registration. It is during this pre-registration process that a candidate can discuss in detail all aspects of the training program.

Once a candidate has completed the five-day course as offered by one of the certified instructors, they are eligible for membership in the CRDA.

Course Outline

Length: 5 days

Description: This intensive hands-on training program is designed to supply you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to assist you in the start-up phase of your own redesign & home staging business. The course includes 3 full days of actual redesign and/or staging work, on-site in real client homes with the opportunity to apply what you learn.

Course Includes:

• practical skills to apply to your business start-up
• sales and marketing, networking and self promotion
• redesign process, step by step (includes consultation & follow-up)
• home staging principles

Upon successful completion of the course and membership, you will receive a your certification as a Certified ReDesign & Staging Specialist™ (CRSS™).

We always tell our clients their house has one chance to make a great first impression. As a Home Staging Specialist you have one chance at making a great first and lasting impression with your client, but that comes with a lot of hard work.

We want to make that work a bit easier for you by sharing everything you will need to know about the ‘good, the bad and the ugly’ of home staging. Through trial and error, research and consultation with other professionals, we have developed a cost-effective and time-efficient approach to preparing a home for the real estate market.

Now it’s our turn to share our successes with you.

In the Beyond the Basics course you will learn how to meet and present to Realtors; what you need to know before your consultation with the home owner, what to do – and not do - during the consultation; the three stages of staging a home for sale; tried and true tips of the trade; and how to deal with every type of client.

Colour Consultation Certification Course (Phase 1).

By attending this 1 day interactive workshop you will gain clear, practical and applicable knowledge and skills needed to develop dynamic colour balanced environments. Workbook and full consulting kit is supplied. With a focus on facilitating solutions, the consulting review will also strengthen your existing routines. This is the first of 3 phases of the process to become a Certified Colour Consultant representing both General Paint and the CRDA.

Upon completion this combination of skills and approach, backed by the technical expertise of General Paint, will help you develop another successful income stream for your business.
